The Brian's OPT1K series has raised the bar for goalie equipment, across the board. Unifying innovation and craftsmanship, Brian's has created a series that can cater to any type of goalie.

The most noticeable feature of the OPT1K blocker is the BOA System. The BOA System uses a dial and steel wiring to tune-fit a piece of equipment more precisely and with ease. The wrist strap is moved down on the blocker to be positioned on the heel of the palm, rather than the wrist. This allows for better wrist mobility.

To no surprise, the OPT1K comes with a binding-less edge for a clean aesthetic. The outside edge of the blocker, however, takes from the old Brian's DX2 blocker, where it is cut inward to a give a right-angle triangle look. This design cuts weight from the blocker and gives it a unique look.

Updated wrap-around finger protection provides better protection and an easier, more comfortable grip on the stick.

No-Slip Grip is now used on the entire blocker palm and fingers, for considerably better stick control, and wears better than cream Nash.
